At Wildhouse Ink–an event design and production company– as an in-house designer I collaborated with Details Darling – a boutique style full service wedding planning and event design company–– to bring Hannah + Zach’s big day together. This event design encompassed signage for their welcome party such as a welcome sign, menus, bar signage, to their day-of signage of the escort seating chart, welcome sign, bar sign, wifi sign, menus, custom casamigos labels, neon sign, and table numbers.
BRIEF
Hannah and Zach envisioned a modern, elegant wedding infused with romance. They sought to elevate their day above standard wedding signage, aiming for sophistication and refinement. As a departure from my usual whimsical and colorful style, this wedding presented a valuable opportunity for me to expand my skills into a more refined aesthetic.

*Consistency between digital mockups and final output is crucial. Collaborating with the Wildhouse production team, we refined print files and ensured proper scaling on escort panels. These details are pivotal for project success, teaching me invaluable lessons in trial and error, problem-solving, efficiency, and quality control in print and production design.
*We then transitioned into the production and execution phase, which involved sourcing materials such as travertine stone, mirrored acrylic, specialty cardstock, and wood for the project. I created print-ready files for our production artist and ensured all measurements and mechanics were meticulously planned to bring the signage to life.
*This project enhanced my appreciation for detail and expanded my design style into a modern, elegant approach. Collaborating with Details Darling and our internal team at Wildhouse Ink, we created enchanting signage, ensuring a magical day for this couple to cherish for the rest of their lives.
*After conducting visual research and sketching out initial designs, I partnered with Details Darling to refine the concepts, ensuring they aligned perfectly with the preferences and vision of the bride and groom. The result was a stunning blend of elevated typography, a sophisticated black and white color scheme, complemented by touches of stone, and a tropical-inspired welcome party.
