Mock Social Good Campaign
Liberty University * 2021
brief
Over 1/3 of adults 65+ are socially isolated and struggle with loneliness. Pals for Seniors (P.S.) is a mock persuasive social good mock campaign created in collaboration with Julia Schneider, Morgan Whitton, Christian Rohr, and Jay Browning, to fight the growing issue of elderly loneliness.
P.S. calls on college students to join an inter-generational pen pal movement between senior living communities and universities. We chose 18-34 year old's as our target audience because they have the least contact with people outside their age group. The goal of this campaign is to encourage students to write a letter and bridge the gap, alleviating loneliness across generations.

design process 〰️
* This project was one that solidified my love for collaboration and design that spreads purposeful messaging. Through research, discussion, and strategy we were able to bring together designs that bring knowledge to consumers as well as actionable steps to create change in this movement.
* I began by sketching initial ideas for a logo that would communicate the identity of the brand while also being legible and easily recognized by all ages.
* This campaign would be advertised in an environmental setting like bus stops, benches, elevators as well as several print methods in order to reach the target audience of college students living on college campuses.
* We also created tangible letters that would be available at each campaign location, allowing college students to pick one up for writing to their senior pal! Our aim was to create a design that is simple, functional, and yet appealing to both generations, achieved through playful and readable typography.
* A social media presence is a crucial component to this project considering the age of the target audience. This is a sample of some of the posts that would be seen across social media platforms to encourage young people to get involved and take action in this campaign!
