Event Design + Fabrication
Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
BRIEF
* December 2023
At Wildhouse Ink—an event design and production company— as an in-house designer, I collaborated on a project for iHeart Radio's JingleBall NYC. Tasked with creating installations for VIP lounges, our designs were crucial in enhancing the guest experience. Working across three spaces at Madison Square Garden—the Delta Lounge, The Madison Club, and the West Balcony— we aimed to bring a festive, interactive wow factor to the event.

Design process 〰️
* This project required strict adherence to deadlines, especially for initial designs and revisions, due to sponsor approval requirements like Capital One. This necessitated meticulous time management and attention to detail. While en route to New York, the client requested a moodboard for the walkthrough, prompting me to swiftly sketch initial ideas and inspiration.
* Upon arriving in New York in October, we conducted an initial walkthrough of the event space and I pitched several ideas to the client based on their moodboard and vision. We took measurements and photos for reference, discussing placement scenarios for the installations.
* A JingleBall express, a dazzling mock new york window display, and a rustic hot cocoa bar seemed fitting for this grand event and space.
* From the initial walkthrough to conception this event spanned three months, involving tasks such as on-site scaling, collaborating with the client on the creative vision, sourcing materials, creating design mockups, signage design and production, and then handing over to our building team for execution. This encompassed project management, creative direction, and on-site installation by our team.

initial designs
These mocks shown are the inital design drafts that I sent to the client. One correlates with the Delta Lounge space that housed several builds and pieces of signage, the second correlates to the Madison Club which was a different space that housed more signage and decorative elements.
final designs
These videos below show the final draft of design mockups that were sent to the client. These also served as reference points to our internal production teams at Wildhouse Ink for printing signage and building the large interactive structures.
